The Tantus Foundation: Celebrating a Culture of Volunteerism

Tantus Technologies established the Tantus Foundation in 2010. The foundation was an outgrowth of Tantus' commitment to help employees get involved, create a culture of volunteerism, and bring life to Tantus' corporate values "take care of each other" and "do the right thing."

Last year, the Tantus Foundation set a record for employee involvement. Since 2009 Tantus has actively supported the Children's Inn at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), a residential facility that provides a healing environment while patients receiving groundbreaking medical treatments at the NIH. During the year, Tantus expanded its support to organizations such as Gifts for the Homeless, ASHA for Women, and The National Kidney Foundation.

"I am so inspired by our employees' dedication to improving the lives of those in our community," said CEO Buck Keswani. "Their commitment to helping others demonstrates the unique spirit of our employees and why Tantus' employees really are our number one asset."

After completing an active year of volunteerism in 2012, Tantus is challenging its employees to set a new record for participation and volunteerism in 2013. Tantus has added additional activities to expand its support of the Children's Inn, as well as activities to become more involved in the community directly surrounding Tantus' corporate headquarters office (located in Southwest DC).

"Our team seems more committed than ever in using volunteerism as a way to help create social change, give back to others, and grow healthy communities. I am excited to see how big of an impact we are able to make in 2013."
